Analysis, design, implementation, cost reduction

Agrologistics follows a specific methodology in running every possible project of Supply Chain and Logistics organization. This methodology is the result of strong experience in several projects in the private sector in industrial, commercial and logistics companies. The main objectives in logistics organization projects are:

  • The improvement of services which provide each company either within the internal environment (internal processes, communication between departments) or the communication with the external environment (customers, suppliers, etc)
  • The optimization of logistics cost either the functional cost or the cost of investments

Considering these main objectives, the methodology is based in three steps:

  • Project analysis. Analysis is carried out with many ways (statistical analysis, work on flow measurement and other techniques) but mostly concerns the presence of Agrologistics professionals next to the client during day to day running of the business
  • Design and planning of changes. Depending from the supply chain process the changes are carefully designed. The client decides through several possible solutions and then the changes are programmed
  • Implementation of changes. Agrologistics as a part of the business procedures of each client takes part or has the full responsibility for the implementation of the changes. The experience taught us that the third step is very important in supply chain organization projects either for redesigning some changes or to benefit some more added value
